Scott man thinking about dropping calories again in a few weeks as this spare tire is driving me crazy think it's maybe visceral fat as seems quite deep and being so close to death really want to knock that crap on the head as soon as possible remember bro I don't feel hunger or full anymore. 

and can't do much cardio and had to take this week out training as my hip isn't playing nice so diet really is the only thing I can do the rest of this week being tapering down since Monday from 2500 because i wasn't training at all today managed chest bi's and tri's Monday and Tuesday then my hip through a massive curve ball into the mix absolute nightmare!

Well you can definitely do that.. but it's not a good idea to yo-yo between a surplus and a cut.. I think you just need to pick one main goal (lose fat or gain muscle) and then work from there. Stick with one or the other for a few months at least.

 

Hopefully everything comes right soon though so you can get back into cardio and training, but in the meantime you can definitely see results by reducing the carbs and calories.

Yeah man think I'm just going to do a cut for 4weeks lean myself up abit then Build muscle didn't think the excess fat would have annoyed me as much as it has but now I know haha

But you only just started bulking right? Like for the past 2 weeks? It probably didn't help that you more than doubled your calorie intake in one day.. lol. But like I say.. you don't want to keep chopping and changing between cutting and bulking so fast. Each process takes time if you want to do it properly. How much fat did you actually gain? Do you have a scale that measures it or would you be willing to post a photo? Just so we can determine if it's really worthwhile going straight back to a cut?

Yeah man il post a photo! To be honest intermittent fasting has blew my mind especially when I adjust the calories to what my level of activity is from usually 1600 to 2500 protein usually stays around 140-160 carbs and fats fluctuated more! Spare tire has nearly disappeared in a week! Abs starting to show! Just got a new record for a straight leg deadlift of 105kg can't do actual deadlifts with my hip!

You are looking great @Whataguy! I would say you are sitting around probably 16-20%. These are current photos right? After your week of cutting? So it's probably not a bad idea to cut down to maybe 15% and then get back into a lean bulk from there. Is that what your plan is?

Yeah bro took those this morning after my shower and black coffee. Well got my body fat done few months ago when I had a really bad spare tyre I was 20.8 since then my upper body has gotten far more defined and bigger and spare tire is a lot smaller now so I'm guess 18% but it's a total guess. Bro what state is the u.s are you in my partners family lives in New York Texas and Hawaii thinking of visiting them again if your place is near by man would love to stop by meet one of my heros!
