Which workout should I follow?

Hi Scott,

 

After going through many workouts which you have uploaded on Workout pages and Full Program pages, I just want your suggestion on the right workout plan for me.

 

I am 31, started gym in March and till now I have lost 30 pounds, mostly with Interval cardio plan. I take two meals, try to follow 16:8 fating regime after reading this book - the complete guide to fasting by Dr. Jason Fung.

 

Now weight loss isn't my main concern, as I have set a target to loose 30 more pounds by the end of this year which I can do with Interval cardio plan and fasting. But my main concern is to start strength training along with these two.

 

So, far I have gone through your:

1. FULL PROGRAMS - FAT LOSS muscularstrength.com/Full-Workout-Programs/Fat_Loss

2. muscularstrength.com/exclusive-content

 

but it's like an information overload for me. So, it would be great if you could just guide me to the right strength building workout which I should follow (3 days in a week).

Hey man.. you have pretty much repeated what I already replied to on your board and in your other @forum post.. did you read my response on your board? I suggested there what program to follow.

 

Also, in the other @forum post, I told you that you need to go to the @mealplan page to calculate your macros.. plus you seem to be contradicting yourself.. you say you want to lose 30lbs before the end of the year, yet that isn't your main goal? If you drop 30lbs by the end of this year, you're going to risk losing a lot of muscle as well. Think about it.. From March until now (About 7 months) you have lost 30lbs.. and now you want to lose another 30lbs in less than 3 months?

 

You can still focus on building strength.. but it will be tough dropping weight and increasing strength. Possible, but you won't be maximizing your strength gains. So what is most important to you? What is your bodyfat %? Does your body fat NEED to come down? If you have 30lbs to lose, I'm guessing it probably does?

 

I'm just a little confused at your main goal. And once we know what your main goal is, AND your current macro numbers from the @mealplan page, then we can start to get you on the right track 😊
