1. How long do you think a cardio workout should be for if the prime aim is to loose fat and burn calories? 2. The aim of my machine is to be able to burn a minimum of 400 calories under 30 minutes, what muscles do you think I should be exercising to maximise the amount of calories burnt? 3. Can you please tell me a few exercises for the abdominal muscles which are solely done using resistant bands. 4. Do you think I should create an exercise guide along with my machine explaining caloric deficit diet and its importance? 5. My machine mainly only consists of resistant bands, therefore, can you tell me a few ways to increase the intensity? 6. Is combining a strength exercise done using resistant bands along with a rower(cardio) a good idea? Thanks a lot!!

Cardio is only one part of the fat loss equation. To optimize fat loss, one needs to do both cardio AND strength training. There is no one-size-fits-all for types of cardio and the time needed to lose fat. It comes down to:
1) Nutrition
2) Calorie deficit
3) Training intensity
4) Training frequency
5) Amount of rest
With all do respect, no single machine is going to help with all 5 of these components. At best, your proposed machine would be an additional tool to use to address #s 3 and 4. The time it will take and how much fat that can be lost is dependent on ALL 5 - these vary based on the individual, their level of commitment and persistence, and their genetics. Some people can lean out very quickly while others can't get very lean (single digit body fat) no matter what they do or how they do it.
The long and the short is if you plan to market some sort of "cardio machine" how to use it and what it does is what you will need to document and explain. As far as a fat loss program and timeframes, you need to take into account the 5 points above which go beyond what you will be providing.
