They're still complex carbs. Depending on how they have been frozen they might have more fat though (I notice it says crispy coating so not sure what the nutritional info is?).
If you want to be sure of your sweet potato fries you can always just make your own anyway :-D
Thank you scott! The fat is like 99% unsaturated so that's fine for me
No problems then! But if you ever feel like making your own, now you know how :-D
Best to make your own. Naturally occurring saturated fat is not bad for you. The packaged fries you have may have no saturated fat but they do contain artificial vegetable oils which are very bad for heart health. Polyunsaturated vegetable oils like corn and soy oils (used in the majority of packaged foods) are the biggest health scam going. The crispy coating is definitely full of processed white flour which takes away from the nutritional value of the complex carbs of the sweet potatoes.
Follow Scott's recipe and cook the fries in coconut or olive oil. Best to avoid all packaged foods. The price for convienence is poor quality ingredients.

im definitely gonna start making my own more often, but sometimes i just dont have the time or motivation :(
Proper nutrition is 90% of body/fitness transformation success. If you don't make the time or dig for the motivation to make the time to prepare and eat the right quality foods, you are taking one step forward and one step back in your fitness goals. Which do you prefer - ease of food preparation or reaching your physique goals?

I'm pretty good with my nutrition, it's only once or twice a week I would eat something like that
Yeah in moderation it's OK. But you can also cook heaps of fries yourself at once and freeze them for later too, for the days you don't feel like cooking them :-)
That sounds like something that I'd do. How would I defrost them if I have already cooked them?Oven?Microwave? Sorry i'm a noob in the kitchen..
Microwave is probably easiest.. but if you remember you can take them out of the freezer the day before you need them so they are defrosted and ready to eat the next day.. that is if you like them cold haha :-)
