Hi everyone,

So I'm looking for advice on a good meal replacement/supplimet shake for when I'm at work. When I work i often get shifts that are 6 hours or lower and as part of my company's polocy, you must work 6 1/2 hours to get a break. Consequently, in the time i work 5 or 6 hours I'm missing up to 3 meals. So what I'm after is a shake or something of the meal replacement sort that can replace a whole meal and be consumed more than once a day.

Cheers,

Josh

Try making your own smoothie. Something like this? You can add more oats if it's not enough carbs for you.

Josh,

You can't bring a small cooler with you and keep some food to eat like hard boiled eggs, fruit, or some veggies? Supplements really aren't designed as meal replacements and most weight gain or meal replacement powders are full of sugar. It would be best to bring some food and have a protein shake of casein and water or low fat milk if you can. Casein is digested slowly and takes about 5-7 hours to be absorbed so it is ideal in this regard. You still should try to eat some food unless you want to try fasting during your work hours and then eat when you are given time to do so. Fasting will work if you have enough will power to handle the mental hunger pangs.

smoothies with whey or casein protein if you're in a non active job. You can do just plain shakes, or add some other stuff to it. Weight gainer can help you if you're trying to maintain weight also

I would either pre-cook some meals like John suggested and bring them to work in a cooler, or make smoothies like Robert suggested.

thanms everyone for the replies. when I do work the longer shifts I take pre cooked meals for my breaks. As a bartender is my job, it's always fast paced and usually non stop hense why I was hoping for something i could smash down really quick. Might try the smoothies or fasting.
