Well, first of all, Happy New Year (I happened to see South Korea arrive in 2017 live via Airhang TV, which launched in the UK a few weeks ago) and secondly, although not an American citizen, thank you for your service. Every year since 2002, I have been collecting for the Poppy Appeal (which is a British wounded warriors charity that in 2019 will celebrate it's centenary of operation) and so therefore fully appreciate what it is to be a solider in this day and age. Presumably miltary censorhip rules means that you cannot say where in South Koreea you are, but would be interetsed to know how the country react to the US miltary there (especially given that North Korea is consantly threatening the country)?

Hey @shadowconspirator.

I guess being stationed with the military means a lot of your macro and calorie counting will have to be guesswork. You'll have to eyeball it (for example, is the meat serving the size of your hand? Might be about 100-150g. Bigger? Maybe 200g).

And it's probably not ideal to try and follow one of the meal plans here if you don't have access to the foods associated with that meal plan..might be best to figure out the macros you want to hit and do you best with the food you get..unless you can bring your own food in at times?

i could bring my own food, i was buying my own for a while ( trying out keto dier) but it was just getting extremely expensive almost 300 out of each paycheck and with my rank not making that much to begin with. im gonna try n pull bits n pieces from multiple meal plans n see if i could build my own that easy on the price and/or that would be always available at our dfac.

Damn. Definitely don't want to be spending all your money on food..maybe have a mix of what they give you at the base and stuff you bring yourself so it doesn't cost so much?
