Recommended Suppliments

I don't have an endless budget so I'm looking for the best suppliments.

I have been working out about three or four times a week for the past 6 months and I'd like to step it up to the next level. I am going to do the twelve week program (the 5 day prog). What suppliments would you recommend on somewhat of a budget? I am looking to, first, get stronger and, second, get a bit more lean muscle. Fit, healthy, and strong, not nescisarily look like the hulk.

The best thing to do is spend your money on nutritious, non-processed foods. Having a solid nutritional plan where you get all your macro and micronutrients from wholesome foods is better than any supplement. If you do this, the only recommended supplements in my opinion would be a protein supplement to ensure you are getting enough protein as there is only so much food you can eat each day. All other supplements are not worth the money and have minimal impact if you eat right in my opinion.

Only look to supplements once you have your meal plan in check. Use supplements to fill in gaps where needed. Have you sorted out a solid meal plan with macros and calories to hit each day? Use the @mealplan page if you need more help with that, or post again here with your current diet and we can help you.

Also check out this video for a look at what supplements are best for your budget.

I eat well, lots of fresh vegatables, eggs, and lean meat (mostly organic) I track the amount of protien, fat and refined sugars I eat but other than that I just eat... a lot. I have no idea about vitamins.

Thanks
