guys im looking to do some work outs ive been doing some training for 3 weeks now and i think im ready to give scotts 12 week push pull legs work out.. but i dont wanna look bulky i just want to gain muscles get endurance with strength and burn fats cause im fat really fat, is it ok to do this routine im currently 188lbs and 5'4 in height...im just curious before i start it tomorrow monday if this kind of work out makes you look bulky or not.

im far but im on my way to climb the fitness ladder for my family

As if "looking bulky" was that easy man... haha. this program is perfect or lean gains. the Push, Pull, Legs program is awesome and it contains circuits to help keep you lean and limber

I agree with Scott 100% - program is perfect for lean gains ... but have to make sure your macros are on point too. Friend of mine, whose been working out with me has taken the mentality of "I'm working out so I can eat all I want" and while gaining strength is also gaining equal amounts of table muscle.

ummm ok cool ive started the program today my chest hurt cause of the amrap i think but it feels good though not the bad kind of hurt haha.. im 190lbs 5'4 in height and 29 years old
BMR at rest is 1865.30 at motion is 2891.22
i choose moderte workout 3-5 times a week since im doing the 12 week challange

 

calorie goal is 2641

 

protein intake goal 191 grams

 

fat intake goal 57 grams

 

carbs 341 grams

 

meal planner said my goal is 3512-4012 cal a day

i usually follow this by checking what i ate on the meal planner to see how many cals fats protein did i get..

im far but im on my way to climb the fitness ladder for my family
