Hello I have been working out for 2 years now and did lose quite a number of weight in the past (55 pounds).  However, I did quite a number of mistakes which I spent too much time in doing cardio training and that made me lost so many muscle mass. Right now I am trying to gain some muscle but having trouble with shaping my chest and love handles. I can see a little progress on my biceps, back, triceps but I can't even get rid of my man boobs and love handles. I am doing more chest exercises compared to other exercises but the thing is, only the top part of my chest gain some muscle and the lower part of the chest is still super flabby. I did lookout for my diet, cut out junk food, sodas, sweets and stuffs like that and only had 1 cheat day every week (although in some special occasions I had 2 cheat days).

Any advice how can I shape my chest more efficiently and what exercises should I be doing ? and what is the most effective workout for love handles ?

Thanks you and have a good day!

The shape of your muscles is determined genetically. The "shaping" you are probably referring to is making them more defined as well as larger. Pumping iron will make them larger but only proper nutrition will eliminate the body fat and your love handles to make them show more - lifting alone will not do this.

To determine your optimum nutrition plan to lose body fat, you need to calculate your meal plan with macro breakdowns and amounts and target daily calorie intake. Scott has several videos on this site to guide you on how to build your meal plan. Until this is done, you will not see any appreciable results that you are looking for based on your post. You also can not spot reduce body fat - the body loses fat evenly across your whole body. This means the areas with the most body fat - like love handles - will be the last place to lean out. It just takes time, patience, and a proper meal plan.

@jmboiardi gave some solid advice bro..

but it sounds like to me you are more in need of a structured program than "just chest exercises". What are you doing now? Have you thought abot doing my PUSH, PULL, LEGS program?
