What will happen when I don't train for 2 weeks?

Hey

Im going away to South Africa for 2 weeks with university and as its mostly field work and studying there will be little if anytime to do any sort of training, do you reckon this will affect any progress i've made in the gym so far? (I've been training 5/6 times a week for the last year)

Thanks

Olly

Honestly, it should be alright. Im assuming youll be walking a good amount as well? Usually ill take 5-10 days off every 4-6 months when my body just feels really beat up and i find i come back healed up and stronger than ever before. Just try to be as serious and on top of your diet as possible while youre down there and you should be good to enjoy the field work! If you find your going crazy you could create some body weight circuits to keep you busy also. Hopefully this helps.

I agree, you'll be fine! It's some good deload time. You'll get some good walking in and a couple days a week you could throw in some full body body weight exercises just to keep those muscles active but you aren't going to lose anything. Stay up on your diet too like Colossus Fitness said.

I have been training coming up on 6 years and have made some great gainz. I've done a lot of trial and error on myself as well as learned from others and through research online. I've come along way in strength and size since I've started. I will continue to learn and make myself better each day.
