Hey man! Love this stuff. Would love some more videos on nutrition. Haven't been back in a while, but just watching a few vids and already remember why I liked it so much. Keep it up.
I am a newer member and I am looking into supplements. I have a decent knowledge on protein and stuff but not much about Creatine I am trying to loose weight and fat% but I don't want to loose a ton of strength in the process. Would Creatine be a good fit for me? I am used to people saying to only use it to bulk or that it makes you gain weight ect.. (I am assuming it is some BS bro science but could be right). If I would benefit from it, how many grams a day to you recommend on my lifting days?
Creatine is good for a bit of a strength boost for most people, it's defnitely one of the supplements I recommend! 5g a day is all you need - have you seen my video on it?
I normally use 'Etixx Recovery Shake' supplement in the preseason period. In that period, we have a lot of practices with short rest periods. Often even two practices in the same day. As the title of the supplement says, I use it post-workout to recover faster and continue in the preaseason training. I feel better when I take them and it reduces soreness. Only recently, I've been questioning the working of the supplement because it has a high value of carbs. (100 grams contain 77g carbs and 19g protein)
As I understand now that carbs should be mainly taken before workouts or early in the day and protein after workouts and later in the day. Protein rebuilds the muscles, not carbs. So why would this carb supplement help me recover, maybe it's just a placebo?
well, actually it is best to have both carbs and protein after training. Your body needs to replenish its glycogen storages after training. It has also been shown that you do recover faster with protein +carbs post workout... in otherwords.. a balanced meal
Been taking these post and pre workout (respectively) for a while, but after watching some of your videos on supplementation I am reconsidering (possibly switching to different supps). If each is taken once daily (pre and post workout) do they provide adequate amounts of creatine, BCAA's, and glutamine (seem like low amounts)? Thanks!
Well BSN has a new post workout called R3cover that is coming out I believe this week or next that does. DEFINITELY worth waiting for if you are looking to switch!

Hey scott!
My question is, is it possible to follow with these supplements for few months only, along with proper meal plan?
Would I lose my progress once I stop taking the supplements, given that I still stick to a proper meal plan?
Thank You!
Hey @barasbri! Supplements are not "required" to keep gains. As long as you are still eating right you will keep gains! Keep me posted!!
